Do you want to slow down, take a complete break from daily life, rest and relax?
Do you want to shed those inner fears so that you can go to your own next step of creative self-expression? It doesn't matter if you are afraid of the ocean or that you have never used a mask and fins, or a kayak! We have ways of eliminating those fears with Emotional Freedom Technique! Individuals from 30 to 65 have participated and had a wonderful, life-changing experience! You learn how to kayak when you get there, but you MUST buy a mask that fits your face before you leave home!
Then come and experience the life of a dolphin pod in Kealakekua Bay (Big Island, Hawaii) while refreshing your own spirit. A dolphin adventure will help you transform your approach to living, and life's approach to you!
People who describe themselves as transformed physically, emotionally and spiritually by dolphin encounters have difficulty putting the experience into words: the dolphins are highly psychic and intuitive, and seem to communicate holographically and telepathically. They seem to know when people are in a state of transition, crisis, or illness, or when we are just plain curious - and they respond with joy and playfulness!
This adventure is not for everyone. It is not meant for the thrill seeker looking for a command performance from Flipper. These are wild dolphins in their natural habitat. You will travel to the playground of the dolphins, and you are their guest. It is meant for those that truly respect and appreciate and want to be ONE with the natural world.
The refreshing, transformational energies you receive will help you to appreciate yourself, nurture your intuition and awaken your senses and inner wisdom for health and longevity!
WHY DO I OFFER THESE RETREATS?
The reason that I organize and facilitate these Dolphin Spirit Retreats is because I have an extraordinary kinship with dolphins since I was fifteen years old. Even then I wanted to be a translator between dolphins and humans (1966 in Phoenix, AZ)because I knew dolphins had great gifts for people of all ages. As life happens I didn't go in that direction until I was 44 and grieving the unexpected and pre-mature death of my husband. I wasn't just curious about swimming with wild dolphins, I HAD TO DO THIS! Joan Ocean ("The Dolphin Connection") was my inspiration and my life-changing experiences were almost identical to some of hers. To say this this is a "calling" is an understatement. I view the experience as a sacred honor, and one of unbridled JOY! I recommend that everyone read her book before coming to the retreat.
Kealakekua Bay
The spinner dolphins have been coming to this protected bay for generations to feed, give birth, frolic and play and are very friendly to swimmers and kayaks. This is the best place in the entire world to meet them, because they come regularly and they come close to shore. The bay is a marine sanctuary, protecting the dolphins from harassment and our programs strongly emphasize that by not chasing and disturbing the dolphins, rather allowing them to come closer to us humans if they decide to do so.
EACH RETREAT PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING...
- Comfortable bayfront accommodation

- Three meals a day (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) featuring fresh organic produce
- Guided daily snorkeling and dolphin encounters
- Kayaks are rentable onsite
THE AIR IS WARM AND SO IS THE WATER!
You don't need a wetsuit!
A day at the Retreat
Plenty of Play Time…
We begin each day with an early morning swim in the Bay which is warm, calm, and protected. You can rent a kayak if you prefer. If you have fear of being in the ocean, we will use Emotional Freedom Technique to eliminate those fears and enable you to participate. After lunch and a siesta, we participate in processes lightly designed for you to use to nourish and affirm yourself, take a deep in-breath of clarity and prosperity, and get ready for the next step in the adventure of your life. I offer mini-workshops on healing with the voice and other types of sound; and information about dolphin physiology and legends.
